The Baltimore Running Festival is our premiere fundraising event. The RPEMS community pours its heart and “sole” out every year it what has become an effort to not only raise money but strengthen our school family.

2023 Running Festival

Each year, we pick a theme and a focused fundraising effort. In 2023, the Roland Park Annual Fund laced up their shoes for Strive To Thrive, raising money to continue renovations on the multipurpose room where most school-wide activities are held. In prior years, our efforts have focused on capital projects such as the library refresh and refurbishment, technology, enrichment, and improving our recess and physical education programming. As a team, we raised over $80,000 last year and we will keep the momentum going. It's fun, it's in the fresh air, and it's key to raising enough money to make some very important activities happen at our school each year. And if running isn’t your thing, try walking, or rolling, or join us by cheering on our team, raising money, volunteering to help out, or donating to different team members!

Festival Participation

The actual running is small, compared to the outpouring of generousity leading up to the festival. Each year our organizers find away to make this event exciting for the entire school community. From classroom parties, to teacher competitions, to even becoming principal for the day…the Roland Park Annual Fund works to give everyone in the school community a rooting-interest in this event.

RPAF consistently brings one of the largest charity teams each year to the Baltimore Running Festival
